Beef Stew Instant Pot Winter Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs beef stew meat, cut into cubes
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Set Instant Pot to sauté mode. Sear beef stew meat until browned on all sides.
2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
3. Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
4. Pour in beef broth. Close the Instant Pot lid and set to high pressure for 30 minutes.
5. Allow natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release. Add sliced carrots and diced potatoes.
6. Close the lid and set to high pressure for an additional 5 minutes.
7. Quick release pressure. Adjust seasoning if needed before serving.
