Creamy Tomato Basil Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a pot, combine crushed tomatoes, vegetable broth, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 10-15 minutes.
3. Stir in heavy cream and chopped basil. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
4. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and a drizzle of cream.
