Beef Stew Recipe Slow Cooker Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs beef stew meat, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups potatoes, diced
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a slow cooker, combine beef stew meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, diced potatoes, sliced carrots, chopped celery, and frozen peas.
2. In a bowl, mix beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour over the beef and vegetables.
3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until beef and vegetables are tender.
4. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
