Chicken Casserole Slow Cooker Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice or egg noodles for serving
Instructions:
1. Place diced onion, sliced mushrooms, and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
2. Lay chicken breasts over the vegetables.
3. In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, sour cream, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour over the chicken.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and tender.
5. Serve over cooked rice or egg noodles.
