Chicken Thighs Slow Cooker - Italian Style Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, dried basil, and dried oregano.
2. Place sliced onion, sliced bell pepper, and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
3. Arrange seasoned chicken thighs on top of the vegetables.
4. Pour crushed tomatoes (with juices) and chicken broth over the chicken.
5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and tender.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
